Welcome to Sundara Yarn!

Sundara Yarn currently has three luxurious base yarns in a range of weights and fibers that are pleasing to knit with and result in a soft and sumptuous fabric.  They are available in repeatable colors: the Permanent Collection, and in one-of-a-kind colors: the Limited Edition yarns.  All of the yarn is hand-dyed in small batches using immersion dyeing. 

Permanent Collection yarns are dyed in 6 "Somewhat Solid" colors and 20 solid colors.  All of the base yarns are available in all 26 colors.

Limited Edition yarns are posted once or twice a month.  All of these colors are a result of Sundara'™s experimentation with color and dye, and because of this, cannot be reproduced.

Sundara started out as an avid knitter who had a hard time finding yarns that met her admittedly high-standards of quality, color and softness.  She studied art and color theory in college and is thrilled beyond belief to be using her love of color to create something beautiful for you to knit with.

Sundara is  pronounced SUN as in "sun", DAR as in "are" with a "d" in front of it, and A as in "arena."  You can accent either the first or second syllable.
